Outreach is a philanthropic organization registered under the Indian Trusts Act 1982. It was established in 2015. It is working for different social causes. The prime objective of the organisation is to promote Radio. It organizes different events for the promotion of Radio & Broadcasting sector. Outreach encourages different organisations to establish new Radio Stations. It attracts youngsters to make career in Radio. Outreach has organised 5 workshops till now. Some of the participants are working in different Private FM Radio stations and TV channels of Odisha. Some of the participants are freelancing for All India Radio and other media houses.
What is Anchoring Workshop?
Are you interested in making a career in Anchoring? Well, this could excite you that Outreach organizes training programmes on anchoring every year. This focuses on Television, Radio & Stage Anchoring. This year due to COVID 19 pandemic situation, we are organizing a fully residential 7 days long Winter Training. COVID negative test report (RTPCR) is mandatory to join the program. In this training we’ll focus on TV Radio & stage anchoring, reporting. For the first time, we are adding basics of photography & videography to the training schedule. During the workshop, importance is given on body language and personality development. Since there is no such dedicated training programme in Odisha, this training will be helpful for youngsters interested to make career in the field to know more about the profession. Outreach has organised 8 workshops till now. Many of our trainees are working in different Private FM Radio stations and TV channels of Odisha. Some of the participants are freelancing for All India Radio and other media houses. The minimum qualification required to join the workshop is intermediate. People from all disciplines can enroll in the programme. While there are only 20 seats available for the programme. The participation fee is Rs 5,000. The fee includes accommodation & food.     Rule & Regulations
    More than one person/organisation may be awarded in each category. There is no fee to file a nomination for this Award. Only online entries will be received. Supporting contents must have been originally broadcast between 1st January, 2018 and 31st December, 2018. Last date for submission of Nomination for Awards is 15th January, 2019, 12 pm. If you are a radio professional and if you think you have shown excellence in broadcasting then we invite you to file a nomination for this award. There is no fee for filing a nomination. Only radio professionals of Odisha can file nominations for this award. Nominations can be submitted by filling out the form. Online Nominations can be filed till 15th January 2019, 11:59 pm. You may enter in as many categories as you wish. If you are submitting an entry in more than one category, please submit it separately in each category, as it will be judged separately. Please do not include confidential information in your entries. Incomplete nominations will be rejected. Awards will be given on the occasion of International Radio Fair 2019. Decision of the Jury committee will be final. Outreach will not be responsible for incomplete, lost, late, illegible nominations. Award winners will be notified by telephone or by email. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the awards judges. Awardees will be responsible for their own travel plans and expenses.     International Radio Fair

    Fifth Outreach International Radio Fair (OIRF 2019) is to be organized by philanthropic organization, Outreach on the occasion of World Radio Day at Bhubaneswar. This is the biggest radio get together of India. UNESCO has described Radio Fair as one of the biggest event of World Radio Day. It will be held from 12th to 14th February 2019. The objective of the event is celebrating radio.
